We’re here to rid the world of bad shopping experiences.

It’s a bold aim, and one that needs both a dynamic team and a very different way of working.

Our people are all stewards of the business, helping us to win through care, commitment and conviction – and in return we open up a whole new world of flexibility around where, when and how you work.

It’s an exciting time to be part of Amplience. We have new leadership, new goals and new opportunities. So let’s find out where you fit in…

And if you’re still wondering what we actually do…

Amplience is the AI Content company that brings together data, performance insights and generative AI. We help 400+ of the world’s biggest brands, from Liberty and Mulberry, to Argos and Crate & Barrel, deliver persuasive content for every shopping context, fuelling truly personalised and connected experiences.

What to Expect

The Account Development Representative (ADR) role at Amplience is changing, and you can be a part of this exciting next chapter. As Amplience firmly establishes itself as an AI Content Company, we are bringing a new set of solutions to differentiate us from the competition and open up a whole new market segment.

The new AI Studio solutions will enable us to sell smaller ‘land’ solutions to Enterprise customers, paving the way for our Enterprise sellers to sell ‘expansion’ opportunities to these customers. They will also enable us to sell to a new cohort of small—to mid-size retailers who may not need a full-scale CMS solution.

This is where our future ADR team comes in. In addition to being tasked with outbound prospecting, lead generation, inbound qualifying, and establishing initial contact with identified Target Accounts and Prospects for our Enterprise solutions, we want our ADR team to be a team of revenue-generating sellers.

With Amplience’s transition into becoming the leading AI Content company, the ADR will be responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities for the new AI Studios release. With this transition, the ADR will also play a key role in converting this into new business sales through a defined Inside Sales motion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Drive Awareness to the AI Studios through outbound prospecting efforts with identified Enterprise Accounts and qualifying inbound interest.
  • Inside Sales: Support and progress the AI Studio’s interest in new business sales.
  • Account Development/Pipeline Building: Qualify Amplience Core Platform leads and opportunities and using a multi-channel approach to deliver Amplience’s value proposition to generate a robust pipeline
  • Relationship Building: Through creative communications, build, nurture, and maintain active engagement with new and existing opportunities. Establish rapport and credibility to facilitate the transition of qualified leads to the sales team.
  • Quota Attainment: Responsible for achieving defined opportunity targets and actively implementing effective strategies to meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on progress and challenges.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate, organised, and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software and sales tools to track progress, prioritise opportunities, and provide timely and accurate business forecasts.
  • Product Knowledge: Continuously develop a deep understanding of Amplience’s products and services to effectively communicate the business value for effective problem-solving and critical challenges
  • Travel: Travel up to 20% of the time for office duties, meeting with customers/prospects, attending tradeshows, and/or attending work-related events. Some international travel may be required.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Previous experience with Inside Sales, closing roles or similar
  • Previous experience as an Account/Business/Sales Development Representative, promoting Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Prior success in lead generation, selling or sales development in a quota-achieving role.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools. Salesforce preferred.
  • Ability to overcome objections, listen and offer key questioning skills to determine customer pains, challenges and requirements.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Inherently skilled at taking creative, innovative, strategic approaches to identifying and developing opportunities and sales.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal and written) with a proven ability to build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with potential customers.
  • Possess the ability to engage in persuasive communication to influence prospects.
  • Highly collaborative, with a “we’re here to win” outlook, willingness to perform and get things done positively, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to convey and relate ideas to others.
About You

  • You have a collaborative mindset and can work seamlessly within a team, sharing information and exchanging ideas.
  • You have a goal-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
